Sybil Pomeroy - Jewellery

Sybil Pomeroy, at the Port Ellen craft marketWe retired seven years ago and moved to Islay.  Making jewellery is a self-paying hobby which keeps me occupied and fascinated with nature's wonderful stones.

I am self-taught, starting with shell earrings and pendants.  Now, I use mainly semi-precious stones from all over the world and sterling silver.  I also use Swarovski crystals, fresh water pearls, paua shell and whatever catches my eye - the more unusual and outrageous, the better!

A selection of Sybil's handmade necklacesI sell necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings etc.  I try to keep a mix of large stone and small stone jewellery.  My logo is a good indication of the things I prefer to make!  Prices range from £5.00 to £30.00 - rarely more as this is principally a hobby.  I do take orders and commissions.

For more information about my work, see me at either the Bruichladdich or Port Ellen Craft Market, visit my Web site or e-mail me.
